Cuatro Villas MDWUA offers a clean and reliable source of water for it's members. CV MDWUA is a viable alternative for homeowners concerned about the quality of water supplied by personal property wells. Our water is tested annually and meets or exceeds all EPA quality standards.
The annual membership meeting is held in March of each year.
Members are notified of place and time via US Post and
information is also reported in the Rio Grande Sun. The annual
meeting is governed by the open Meetings Act.
Unless
otherwise specified in the OMA resolution adopted annually by
the Board, notice will be given at least ten (10) days prior to
the annual meeting; Such notice will state the nature, time,
place, and purpose of the meeting and be mailed by first-class
mail to each Member of record, directed to the address as shown
upon the books of the Association. The failure of any Member to
receive notice of an annual meeting of the Members shall not
invalidate any action that may be taken by the Members at such
meeting.
Infra-structure includes water sources, water lines, distribution and transmission lines, infrastructure wells, pumps and pumping stations, reservoirs, easements, real property, and systems’ water rights. It also includes secure customer user data bases, existent contracts with vendors and consultants, and mutually agreed upon compliance documentation of relevant state and federal environmental laws. The CV water system’s obligations include contracts and collective bargaining agreements
No. You would use Cuatro Villas water for your domestic needs but you could still use your domestic well for irrigation or livestock. If there is any common plumbing then you would need to prevent any backflow into the Cuatro Villas system.
